ABOUT WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

Within the scope of the ISO 27001:2013 BGYS (Information Security Management System) implemented in the Department of Information Technology, which is included in the actions determined regarding the risks identified in the Strategic Plan of our University, security scanning tests are carried out in Software and Information Systems at regular intervals. As a result of the penetration tests, it was determined that Wireless Network Access should be encrypted. Therefore, starting from Thursday, 07.11.2019, the password “Traky@!!1982.” will be used when connecting to all Wireless Devices of our University (except “eduroam”).
