ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE EFFECT OF HEALTH REPORTS ON ABSENCE STATUS

According to Article 16 (Amended third paragraph: RG-31/7/2014-29074) of the Trakya University Undergraduate, Education and Examination Regulation titled Course Registration and Attendance, course attendance is determined by the attendance records conducted by the instructor responsible for the course. Students are required to attend 80% of theoretical courses, 90% of course practices and laboratories. ***Health reports do not constitute a reason for the absence periods to exceed the specified limits.

As clearly stated in the regulation article above, it is stated that the reports received by our students will not be taken into account in the calculation of absence, and our students should act in accordance with the above explanations and should not submit their reports to our dean's office and should not apply to our student affairs office for this.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Health reports (received from at least three doctors or board reports received from hospitals) can only be valid for visa excuse requests of students who become ill during the visa week periods (by the decision of the board of directors) provided that they are submitted within the periods specified in the regulation.
